About Me.

Simone Brazzini was born in Lima, Peru, raised in Dallas, Texas, and currently resides in Los Angeles. They hold a BFA in Acting and a minor in Film Production from DePaul University. Recent on screen credits include Vayle in the short Wizdom (Silver Telly Winner), Beto in the Latine short Niki Tomi Beto which was a Finalist for the ScreenCraft Short Competition, and Gael in a Wedding to Diego, a queer rom-com shot in Portland, OR which won Audience Favorite at the SaFFlicks Film Fest. Recent regional theatre credits: Frou Frou: A Menagerie of Sort at Boston Court Pasadena (Best Breakthrough Performance), LuciĆ©rnagas at National Queer Theatre, Sapience at San Diego Rep, and (trans)formanada at Stages directed by Virginia Grise. Other than acting, Simone loves rock climbing, hiking, writing poetry, creating music and making films. They are also passionate about inclusion in media which prompted them to found Vibes Video, a production company centering bipoc, queer, trans, and neurodiverse voices both off and on-screen. Their work as a filmmaker deeply roots itself in radical authenticity and exploring the nuances of the human condition. Recent productions include: Somebody (dark comedic short), Menthol (dramatic short), One of the Boys (queer sitcom pilot), Interview with the Directors (comedic sketch), and Nutmeg (short drama).
